Beşiktaş president Serdal Adalı wants to sign Tottenham Hotspur's 27-year-old centre-back Kevin Danso, whom he views as a potential partner for Emmanuel Agbadou. Contact was made with the Austrian footballer during the winter transfer window, but an agreement was not reached because of financial terms. It is reported that Danso is receptive to Beşiktaş's project. The club plans to approach Tottenham again in the summer and is prepared to extend its financial resources to complete the signing.
Tottenham previously paid a €25 million fee to Lens for Danso in July 2025, when the selling club had requested €20 million. Danso has 30 caps for Austria and has made 13 appearances in the Premier League during the 2025/2026 season. His contract with Tottenham is valid until 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €22.00m.
