Scottish midfielder Bailey Rice has agreed terms on a contract extension with Rangers, which he is expected to sign in the coming days, and may go on a loan move. The 19-year-old had previously been linked with clubs including Ajax and Schalke 04, but has committed his future to Ibrox.
The Rangers Review reports that Kilmarnock are interested in a loan deal to provide the Scotland U19 international with first-team experience in the Premiership next season, as he has made no league appearances in the 2025/2026 campaign. It is reported that Rangers are open to the move as part of a development pathway. The club hopes that guidance from Neil McCann and his assistant Billy Dodds will help Rice progress with the long-term goal of challenging for a starting place at Ibrox. Transfermarkt lists his current market value as €800k.
