AC Milan, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, and Inter Milan are among several top European clubs following the development of 15-year-old Niko Ilicevic of Eintracht Frankfurt. It had also been previously reported that FC Bayern had made intensive efforts to sign the attacking midfielder. Despite the interest, Frankfurt is in a strong position, having signed the German U17 international, who also holds Croatian citizenship, to a development contract in early July that runs until 2029. According to 'Bild', this contract will automatically become a professional contract on his 18th birthday. He has 2 caps and 1 goal for Germany's U17 team.
