Stijn van Gassel

In August 2026, reports indicated Sparta Rotterdam submitted an opening offer of around €800,000 for the goalkeeper, which was firmly rejected by Excelsior. The player's current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is listed at €1.0m.

Our valuation is driven by the reported rejected bid of €800,000 from Sparta Rotterdam in August 2026. This figure establishes a firm floor for Stijn van Gassel's value. Considering his status as Excelsior's Player of the Year and his market value of €1.0m, we estimate his final transfer fee will likely settle around the €1.0m mark, with Excelsior holding out for a slightly higher figure.
