In February 2026, reports cited a Transfermarkt market value of €4 million. This followed his transfer from PSV to Al-Ahli in January 2025, for which reports mentioned a fee of €9 million, around €10 million, or €9 million with a potential €1 million bonus. At the time of that transfer, his market value was reportedly €5 million.

Our valuation is driven by the conflicting data points of Matteo Dams' recent transfer history. While Al-Ahli paid a significant fee of €9-10 million in January 2025, his subsequent lack of appearances and loan move to Panathinaikos suggest a considerable drop in value. This is reflected in his more recent Transfermarkt valuation of €4 million, which anchors the lower end of our range, while the high fee paid just over a year ago prevents his value from collapsing entirely.
