Reports from August 2025 mentioned Jayden Meghoma's transfer from Southampton to Brentford in August 2024 was for a £10 million (approx. €11.8 million) fee. The available transfer history, however, records that same transfer at €5.9 million. A separate rumour from August 2025 noted Rangers could receive £6 million (approx. €7 million) for selling another left-back.

Our valuation is driven by the €5.9 million fee Brentford paid for Jayden Meghoma in August 2024. While a higher fee of £10 million was also reported for that transfer, his subsequent development on loan without securing a permanent move away from Brentford suggests his value has remained in a similar range to the original, confirmed fee.
