Bamo Meïté

Most recently, in September 2026, Bamo Meïté's Transfermarkt valuation was reported at €7 million. Earlier in 2026, his loan to Lorient had conflicting reports of a purchase option between €7-8 million (March) and €5-6 million (February), with Lorient reportedly unwilling to pay. His loan to Montpellier in February 2025 included a reported €8 million option to buy. Reports from December 2024 mentioned his acquisition cost for Marseille was €10.5 million, which corresponds to the completed transfer fee from Lorient to Marseille in July 2024.

Our valuation is driven by the downward trend from Bamo Meïté's original €10.5 million transfer fee to Marseille. Subsequent loan deals included purchase options reported between €5 million and €8 million. Given that the loanee clubs have been reluctant to exercise these options and sought to renegotiate downwards, we estimate his current market value is in the lower half of that range.
