Former Lokomotiva first-choice goalkeeper Zvonimir Šubarić, a 29-year-old Croatian, is expected to continue his career at Zrinjski. After spending the second half of last season on loan at Posušje, he briefly returned to Lokomotiva but is now expected to depart again. He is joining Zrinjski as a replacement for Goran Karačić, who sustained a serious injury. He will compete for the starting spot with Antonio Đaković, who arrived at the club a month ago. Šubarić joined Lokomotiva in September 2022 and his contract expires in June 2026. His current market value is listed at €200k by Transfermarkt.
