Olympiacos made a verbal offer to Saint-Etienne for 24-year-old Georgian winger Zuriko Davitashvili of €10.5 million plus an additional €3 million in bonuses. The French club considered the offer insufficient. Saint-Etienne had acquired the player from Bordeaux in 2024 for €6 million, and during the summer of 2025, the club was reported to be demanding €20 million for him. The Georgian international has 52 caps and 7 goals for his country. He has a contract with the French club until June 2028 and has scored one goal and provided one assist in eight Ligue 2 appearances this season. Olympiacos is not the only team interested in Davitashvili, as Benfica and Beşiktaş have also been linked. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €8 million.
