Zuriko Davitashvili Transfer from Saint-Étienne to Everton
Zuriko Davitashvili is reportedly ambitious and is seeking to join a first division team, with a preference for one involved in European competition. The 24-year-old Georgian international winger has allegedly refused to participate in friendly matches against Paris FC and Cagliari in a bid to force a transfer. Everton is among the clubs said to be interested in acquiring him. Davitashvili, who has previously played in Ligue 1 with Bordeaux, is currently with AS Saint-Etienne and is reportedly determined not to play in Ligue 2, having experienced it for two seasons with Bordeaux. Besides Everton, other clubs such as Rennes, Strasbourg, FC Séville, and Borussia Mönchengladbach are also reportedly interested in signing him. This situation is creating tension for ASSE, as their objective is to return to the top tier next season and they wish to retain their key players, including Davitashvili, with the league restart approaching. His contract with Saint-Etienne is valid until June 2028, and his market value is estimated at €10.00m by Transfermarkt.
