It adds that the 22-year-old is under contract with the Eliteserien side until the summer of 2028 and a fee of around £3m or more will be required for Sandefjord to sell him.

Smajlović is considered one of the best defensive players in the Norwegian Eliteserien and has become a key player at Sandefjord, which is currently eighth in Norway. Sandefjord expects significant activity concerning Smajlović in the upcoming transfer period and anticipates a bid in the near future.
