NK Osijek had an agreement with Vítor Matos’ side for Zeidane Inoussa to join on loan as a replacement for Nail Omerović, who recently transferred to Estoril Praia. Supporters at Osijek were expecting him to arrive and complete the move, but it did not happen due to the Croatian side's concerns over Inoussa’s fitness. According to Gol.hr, the main reason for the deal's collapse was his fitness, which meant there were doubts about him passing a medical. The outlet also stated that Osijek were not prepared to risk his health and potentially be left with only Admir Ljatić to cover the left wing, and will therefore be looking for a signing among free agents.

According to Index.hr, Zeidane Inoussa was expected to become a new player for Osijek last night. The club entered him into the HNS Comet player system, but his arrival was cancelled.

Zeidane Inoussa, a 24-year-old Swedish-Beninese winger from Swansea, is set to join Osijek on loan until the end of the season in a deal completed on the final day of the SuperSport HNL transfer window. The move is expected to happen, although there has been no official confirmation. The player is listed in the COMET system for competitions under the HNS, although he is not yet formally assigned to a club. Inoussa was not in coach Vítor Matos's primary plans, which made a temporary transfer likely. Swansea paid six million euros for him last summer. Just days earlier, a proposed loan to Portsmouth collapsed on the last day of their transfer window. Osijek had been seeking a winger after the sale of Nail Omerović to Estoril. The winger's contract with Swansea is valid until June 30, 2030, and he has four caps for the Sweden U21 team. His market value is listed as €4.5 million by Transfermarkt.
