Mateo Cassierra has been proposed to Monterrey, and the Mexican team responded optimistically to the proposal, contacting Zenit to inquire about the conditions of a potential deal. The transfer fee for the 28-year-old forward is estimated to be between $10-12 million. Cassierra reportedly does not dismiss the possibility of leaving Zenit. Interest in the player has also been shown in Europe, with Sevilla being one of the clubs linked to him, as well as in Brazil. The Colombian forward joined Zenit from Sochi in the summer of 2022 and has since participated in 117 matches across all competitions, scoring 47 goals and providing 21 assists. His current contract with Zenit is valid until the summer of 2027, and his market value is listed at €10 million according to Transfermarkt.
