Wisła Płock and Motor Lublin competed to sign 26-year-old Slovenian wing-back Žan Rogelj, who had spent the previous season on loan at Wisła from the Belgian club Sporting Charleroi. Wisła Płock had a buyout option in the loan agreement. The situation was complicated when Motor Lublin, recently managed by Rogelj's former coach Mariusz Misiura, also expressed interest. Despite the competition, Wisła is expected to finalize the permanent transfer. It is reported that the Ekstraklasa club has agreed on terms for the permanent deal with both the player and his Belgian employer. The transfer now requires the city's approval for completion. In the 2025/2026 Ekstraklasa season, Rogelj made 26 appearances, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists. His contract with Royal Charleroi SC is set to expire in June 2027. He is a three-time Slovenia international, and according to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €700k.
