Youssef Maleh Transfer from Lecce to Cremonese
Cremonese is on the verge of signing Youssef Maleh from Lecce. Sky Sport reported that the deal is expected to be a loan with an obligation to purchase, contingent upon conditions unrelated to the club's league survival. Maleh, who is contracted with Lecce until June 30, 2027, spent the previous season on loan at Empoli, where he made 24 appearances and scored once. Following his return to Lecce, he could be leaving the club after participating in the 2022/23 season with 17 appearances and one assist. Born in Italy in 1998 and holding Moroccan nationality, Maleh brings Serie A experience with 108 appearances, 2 goals, and 6 assists in the league. His prospective move to Cremonese would strengthen their midfield, offering the newly promoted club a player well-acquainted with the top tier, which is essential as they seek to cement their status in Serie A.
