NEC have confirmed the transfer of striker Yousef El Kachati to Stade Reims. According to various media, NEC will receive over two million euros for Yousef El Kachati, excluding bonuses. Technical director Carlos Aalbers said that Yousef did not play as many minutes last season as he had hoped. Aalbers added that when Stade Reims approached, it was quickly clear the transfer was a good solution for all parties.

According to De Telegraaf and Voetbal International, Youssef El Kachati is set for a transfer to Stade Reims. The deal is reportedly worth two million euro. NEC and Stade Reims have not confirmed the deal, but El Kachati indicated on Instagram that he will leave Nijmegen.

Youssef El Kachati, a 26-year-old Moroccan-Dutch centre-forward, is transferring to Stade Reims. The transfer fee that NEC will receive from Stade Reims can, through bonuses, rise to nearly two million euros. Stade Reims sees El Kachati as an important player to help secure a return to the top division. El Kachati signed with NEC last season on a free transfer after two seasons at Telstar. The Morocco U23 international scored three goals and provided three assists in 19 Eredivisie appearances in the 2025/2026 season. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €650k, and his contract with NEC was set to expire in June 2028.
