According to a report, Olympique Lyonnais are interested in signing 22-year-old Portuguese and Tunisian striker Youssef Chermiti from Rangers. The same report noted the French club had previously considered Hearts player Claudio Braga. The report adds that the Ligue 1 side could soon make a bid of under £17.1 million, including bonuses. Rangers, who signed Chermiti from Everton for a total of around £10 million, are currently in talks regarding the striker's future, although there is no indication of how they would respond to an offer. A transfer is not anticipated to occur in the immediate future, as new manager Derek McInnes is still assessing his squad.
