Saudi club Al Taawoun has reached an agreement to recruit 21-year-old Moroccan striker Younes El Bahraoui from Kawkab de Marrakech this summer. The transfer fee is reported to be 1 million euros, which was settled after advanced negotiations between the clubs. The Moroccan club also negotiated a clause that gives them 30% of any future resale value. El Bahraoui gained prominence after winning the U20 World Cup with Morocco, which drew interest from several clubs, and a Portuguese club had previously made an offer for him a few months ago. Al Taawoun reportedly accelerated discussions to sign the player after monitoring his development. El Bahraoui is scheduled to undergo medical examinations before officially signing his contract for his first professional experience outside Morocco.
