Zhytomyr's Polissya has shown interest in Yevhenii Kucherenko, the Ukrainian goalkeeper for the Greek club Panetolikos, as Polissya aims to reinforce its first-choice goalkeeper position. The Ukrainian club intended to sign the 26-year-old player, who has an estimated transfer value of 400 thousand euros. The main difficulty for the transfer is the stance of the Greek Super League representative, which is reportedly not prepared to consider offers from Polissya or from the Polish club Motor. Kucherenko joined Panetolikos in January 2026 and has a contract with the club until the end of 2027. He has been capped once for the Ukraine U21 team. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 12 appearances in the Scottish Premiership, 11 in the Super League 1, and 9 in the Super League Play-out.
