Athletic Club has confirmed that an agreement has been reached with Yeray Alvarez. The 31-year-old Spanish centre-back, who was set to be out of contract at the end of this season, has signed a new deal until 2028. Alvarez, who joined the club on July 1, 2016, has a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.00m. He stated that he is happy and that his dream is to end his career as a footballer with the shirt of Athletic Club.
