According to L'Équipe, Yassin Belkhdim has decided to stay at Angers SCO. He was solicited by several foreign clubs during the summer transfer window, but the approach of manager Stéphane Gilli and his repositioning in midfield convinced him to stay. Belkhdim will have an important role in Gilli's midfield.

According to L'Équipe, Yassin Belkhdim, 24, has been given permission to leave. He is under contract until 2028.

Yassin Belkhdim has attracted interest from FC Cologne (D2 Germany) and more recently from Toulouse. Angers may need to extend and increase his salary, currently about 8,000 euros gross monthly, to keep him.
