Modena is not planning to cooperate with a transfer of Massolin this winter and wants to keep him at least until the upcoming summer. The proposal would involve the player remaining at Modena until June, in order to secure the Frenchman and gain an advantage over the competition.

Udinese's interest in Yanis Massolin is increasing. Massolin is a 23-year-old French and Martiniquais midfielder currently with Modena, who he joined in the summer from Belgian Serie B club Francs Borains. The club from Friuli reportedly views Massolin as the future replacement for Arthur Atta, who is expected to choose a top club in June. A transfer is not anticipated during the winter, with the intention being to seek an agreement in the summer. Massolin's performances have attracted attention from several European clubs, including Lazio. About a month ago, Modena's president, Carlo Rivetti, commented on the player, describing him as incredible but also very raw with large room for improvement. His contract with Modena is valid until June 2028 and his current market value is €900k, according to Transfermarkt. In the current Serie B season, Massolin has made 12 appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
