Guido Angelozzi stated that during a match between Bergamo and Cagliari, an important scout from an English club, who had previously noticed 19-year-old French centre-forward Yael Trepy last year and this year, asked if Cagliari would sell the player. Angelozzi said he declined because Trepy needs to complete his development. The forward joined Cagliari in July 2024, has scored one goal in one Serie A appearance this season, and has a current market value of €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
