It is reported that Arsenal are among the clubs interested in 22-year-old Tottenham midfielder Xavi Simons. According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the Netherlands international is also of interest to Bayern Munich and his former club Paris Saint-Germain. Simons is expected to cost around €50m. Konur also claims that any transfer packages exceeding this amount require board approval. The possibility of a transfer is complicated by the fact that the two clubs are rivals who rarely do business with one another. Simons, who has 34 caps and 6 goals for the Netherlands, joined Tottenham in August 2025 for a fee reported to be between €60 million and €65 million and his contract runs until 2030. In the current Premier League season, he has made 26 appearances, scoring 1 goal and providing 4 assists.
