Woyo Coulibaly, a 26-year-old Leicester City player, has been directly contacted by several prominent clubs after his performances at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. These clubs include Real Sociedad, Naples, VfL Wolfsburg, and Olympique de Marseille. The Malian right-back is currently on loan at Sassuolo, a deal which does not include an option to buy. Despite the interest from other clubs, Sassuolo has opened negotiations with Leicester to acquire him permanently. Fabio Grosso, the coach of the Italian club, has expressed a strong interest in keeping the player, and Sassuolo is in a good position to retain Coulibaly as an offer has already been prepared. The five-cap Mali international has a contract with Leicester City that runs until 2029 and has made 10 appearances in Serie A this season. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €2.00m. He moved to Leicester from Parma in January 2025 for a fee reported to be between €3.0m and €4.0m.
