Wojciech Banasik, a 19-year-old goalkeeper, has been loaned from Legia Warszawa to Polonia Bytom until the end of the current season. In an interview with Polonia Bytom club media, Banasik stated that he comes to help Polonia pursue its highest objectives, to develop himself and to show his potential in senior football. Banasik spent the last 2.5 years training regularly with the first team of Legia Warszawa and played eight matches for Legia's third-league reserves this season.

Piotr Kamieniecki from TVP Sport and FootballScout jointly report that young goalkeeper Wojciech Banasik will join Polonia Bytom on loan from Legia Warsaw. The deal is considered very likely to be finalized, as the final details are reportedly being arranged. At the first league club, Banasik is expected to compete for a place in the first team against another player on loan, Jakub Rajczykowski, who is joining from Raków Częstochowa.
