Aston Villa are reportedly monitoring Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor, 25, ahead of the January transfer window, following the French forward's bright start to the season. According to Football Insider, Isidor is firmly on Villa’s radar, with the same source stating that Sunderland values him at around £35m. Isidor, who initially joined the Black Cats on loan before the move became permanent, has proven to be a success. However, a mid-season deal could be difficult as Sunderland are expected to be reluctant to sell a player considered key to their efforts to avoid relegation. His contract at Sunderland runs until 2028, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €12m.
