William Mirwasser, a 17-year-old French defender for Hong Kong FC, has received interest from several European clubs, including Blackburn Rovers and Everton. Mirwasser is in contact with both English clubs. The player used the recent international break to visit the training centres of Blackburn and Everton to hold discussions about his future. RC Strasbourg and US Lecce are also reportedly interested, with visits to them planned for the November international break. A source close to Mirwasser stated that the purpose of these trips is to view the facilities and discuss his future. The source also added that a decision has not been made because they wish to explore all available options before a commitment is made next summer. FIFA regulations will prevent Mirwasser from leaving Hong Kong FC until he turns 18 next August, and the clubs interested in him may have to wait until August 28th, 2027, to complete a signing.
