Grêmio has withdrawn from negotiations for 21-year-old Brazilian winger Wesley, who is owned by Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia. Another interested club, Cruzeiro, has also withdrawn from pursuing the player. It is reported that their withdrawal has allowed Corinthians to pursue the attacker's return. Wesley has been capped 12 times for Brazil's U20 team, has a contract with Al-Nassr until 2028, and has a current market value that Transfermarkt estimates to be €4.00m. The player's initial transfer from Corinthians to Al Nassr in August 2024 was for a reported €18 million, and in January 2026, Al Nassr's asking price was reported to be in the €10-€20 million range.
