Left-back Latif Ouedraogo is set to move from Genoa to Rapid Bucuresti with his teammate, central midfielder Chec Bebel Doumbia. Dan Șucu, the financier for both clubs, is arranging the transfers. Ouedraogo's move is expected to be a loan until July 2027. The purpose of the deal is to give the two 18-year-old players from Burkina Faso more playing time for their development and to strengthen Rapid's squad. Ouedraogo made only two substitute appearances for Genoa last season. Ouedraogo joined Genoa in January 2026 and also made 18 appearances and provided one assist in Serie D last season.
