Leicester City are nearing an agreement to sign Warren O’Hora from Hibs. The Foxes have made a six-figure offer, and the League One side is confident of completing the deal before tonight’s English deadline. Leicester boss Russell Martin, who previously worked with O’Hora at MK Dons, wants the Irish defender to help their efforts to gain promotion from League One.

Irish defender Warren O’Hora has been linked with Leicester City, and this situation is being monitored before the transfer deadline, particularly since he was not in the starting lineup for Hibernian's recent victory against Dundee. When questioned about the matter after the match, manager David Gray did not provide a definitive update. The reported interest from the Foxes is understandable because their manager, Russell Martin, previously worked with the 27-year-old at MK Dons. It would be difficult for Hibs to approve any potential deal, as O'Hora is a key defender who joined the club in July 2024. A bid would need to meet the club's valuation for the player, who has a contract until next summer. Hibs would also need to be confident in finding a suitable replacement, as a new central defender would become a priority if he were to depart. According to Transfermarkt, the former Ireland U19 international has a current market value of €550k.
