The Swedish club Malmö announced on Thursday evening the signing of Warren Kamanzi. The 25-year-old Norwegian right wing-back, who can also play as a left midfielder, was a free agent after his contract with Toulouse expired on June 30. He joined the French club in January 2023 from Tromsö, making 100 appearances in Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, and the Europa League. Kamanzi has signed a contract with Malmö that runs until the end of 2029. At Malmö, he will reunite with coach Gaute Helstrup, who managed him at Tromsö in 2022 and joined the Swedish team in early July. In the 2025/2026 Ligue 1 season, Kamanzi made 24 appearances, scored one goal, and provided two assists. He has not yet been capped by the senior Norway national team, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.20m.
