Trabzonspor has signed 23-year-old Wagner Pina from Estoril for a transfer fee of 3 million Euro. The player has impressed during the training camp starting June 30 with his discipline and work rate, gaining the appreciation of coach Fatih Tekke. Pina is expected to play a significant role as a right-back.

The 22-year-old right winger, last playing for Estoril in the Portuguese League, arrived in Istanbul, where he was welcomed by Trabzonspor officials. Last season, he played 30 league matches, scoring 2 goals for Estoril. He has also played 8 matches for the Cape Verde National Team.
