Vitão Transfer from Internacional to Palmeiras
According to ESPN BR, Palmeiras is interested in finding a replacement for Micael and is evaluating names such as Vitão from Internacional.
According to ESPN's findings, Palmeiras is not only monitoring Nino but, aware of the complicated negotiation for the Zenit player, is also observing other names, with the first being Vitão from Internacional.
According to ESPN, Palmeiras has Vitão as a target for 2026. The price to start negotiations is 10 million euros for 80% of the economic rights. There is a possibility to purchase 100% of the player, including the 20% that belongs to the player himself, for a total value that could reach 12 million euros.
Palmeiras expressed interest in acquiring Vitão from Internacional to strengthen their defensive lineup. Nonetheless, they opted not to advance with the negotiation due to Internacional's steep asking price and the fact that Vitão did not match the profile of a left-footed defender they were looking for. Furthermore, Palmeiras has other priorities in the market, including the search for a creative midfielder and a forward. The interest in Vitão also emerged during conversations regarding debts Internacional owed to Palmeiras for the acquisitions of Wesley and Bruno Tabata.
