Teams across Spain and Italy have been monitoring Vitaliy Mykolenko, whose deal is set to expire next summer. It is understood that Everton have an option to extend Mykolenko’s contract for a further year. Everton are intending to keep the 26-year-old. Should a significant offer be made for Mykolenko, Everton could sell the Ukrainian international defender despite their desire to secure a new deal with him in the near future. Fabrizio Romano had reported in January that talks had opened over a renewal between Everton and Mykolenko, but a deal has not yet been agreed. His market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt to be €28 million.
