Vincenzo Fiorillo is a 36-year-old Italian goalkeeper who plays for Carrarese. According to the online edition of Il Centro, Sampdoria has made an inquiry about Fiorillo in recent hours. Fiorillo had been open to returning to Pescara, but that possibility is now considered unlikely because the club has signed another goalkeeper, Enis Ujkaj. A transfer to Sampdoria would represent a return for Fiorillo to the hometown club where he began his career. Such a move would be beneficial for Sampdoria because he would not take up a spot on their Serie B squad list.
