Botafogo has inquired about the situation of Brazilian forward Victor Sá, who previously played for the club between 2022 and 2024. The 32-year-old is expected to leave his Russian club, Krasnodar, in the middle of the year and has expressed interest in returning. However, the forward's salary is considered too high for Botafogo's financial reality, and the club is unlikely to proceed with the negotiation. Even if a deal were possible, the club could not currently register him, as it is under two separate transfer bans: one from the CBF's CNRD and another from FIFA for a debt owed to Bulgarian club Ludogorets, which blocks registrations for three windows. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €3.00m.
