Victor Nilsson Lindelöf, aged 31, is currently a free agent following his departure from Manchester United. He is training with Västerås SK, his former club, while staying in Västerås. Although there are no immediate plans for Lindelöf to resume playing in Sweden, the coach of Västerås SK, Kalle Karlsson, expressed that Lindelöf would always be welcome to rejoin the team if he chose to return after his international career. Lindelöf, who initially left Västerås in 2012 to join Benfica before moving to Manchester United in 2017, also trained with Västerås SK during the pandemic in 2020. Kalle Karlsson noted that Lindelöf had requested to train in order to maintain his fitness, highlighting that the opportunity remains open for him to come back after his time abroad.
