Laola1.at reports that 18-year-old Austrian central midfielder Vasilije Markovic has decided to remain at Austria Wien despite interest from several clubs. Before deciding to stay, Markovic had to consider several offers, which caused him to have some doubts about his future. SK Sturm made an attempt to sign him, and Como, Basel, and Lugano also submitted proposals. Red Bull Salzburg had a strong interest in signing the player, and it was reported that they offered much more money than the Vienna club.
