Sturm Graz has reached an agreement with Valmir Matoshi, a 23-year-old attacking midfielder from Swiss champions Thun who holds dual Kosovan and Swiss nationality. He is expected to receive a four-year contract. It is reported that negotiations between the clubs are advanced, with a transfer fee of one million euros plus additional bonuses under discussion. Matoshi has one year remaining on his contract with Thun and a market value of 1.5 million euros. He is a player for the Kosovo national team, for which he has earned 2 caps and scored 1 goal. The team is coached by Sturm legend Franco Foda. Matoshi has also been linked with FC Union Berlin, Genoa, and Lecce.
