Bologna is considering 19-year-old Argentine defensive midfielder Valentín Acuña of Newell’s Old Boys as one of several potential replacements should Giovanni Fabbian depart due to renewed interest from Lazio. The club is assessing its options, which also include Fabio Miretti of Juventus and Hakim Sahabo of Standard Liegi in Belgium. Acuña has been capped 16 times for Argentina's U20 team, has a contract with Newell's until December 31, 2026, and a current market value of €1.70m, according to Transfermarkt.
