Digi Sport reports that Valentin Crețu's tenure at FCSB has ended suddenly because of a training ground conflict. The club's owner, Gigi Becali, announced that the tenure of the 37-year-old Romanian right-back at FCSB is over, a decision prompted by a conflict at a training ground between the defender and his teammate Arnold Garita. Crețu, who joined FCSB on 04/08/2019 and had a contract due to expire on 31/12/2026, is said to have reached an agreement with another SuperLiga team, newly promoted FC Voluntari. At his new club, the veteran player, who has 2 caps for Romania, will reportedly earn a monthly salary of 7,000 euros. The circumstances of his exit also involved allegations on social media from Crețu's wife, who claimed the team's manager had threatened the player. His current Transfermarkt market value is €100k.
