A 22-year-old centre-back and former Chelsea youth player, Akdağ has attracted the interest of a number of English clubs after performing well for Alanyaspor. The Romanian U21 international's contract with the Turkish club is valid until 2028. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €6.00m.
