Tyrique George Transfer from Chelsea to Fulham

Tyrique George was on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge during the summer and came close to a late move to Fulham on Deadline Day, but the deal failed to materialize. Fulham had identified George as a long-term solution under Marco Silva, but last-minute talks collapsed. Chelsea opted to keep him until at least January to reassess his development.

Transfermarkt reports on the imminent transfer of Tyrique George to Fulham from Chelsea. Chelsea winger Tyrique George is set to join west London neighbours Fulham on a permanent deal ahead of the transfer deadline. Fulham have agreed a €25.4million fee and have finalised personal terms with George on a five-year contract until June 2030. He will undergo a medical ahead of his switch to Craven Cottage before Monday's deadline on September 1. His exit will take Chelsea's total sales this summer to over €340m.

Team Talk reports on the circumstances leading to Tyrique George's transfer to Fulham. Liam Delap's injury inadvertently led to Tyrique George agreeing a transfer to Fulham. Fulham have been looking for new attacking options and were alerted to the availability of George. Marco Silva was initially unsure about the move, but after a full scouting opportunity at Stamford Bridge, Fulham decided to put together a package worth £22m for a permanent transfer.

Fulham have reached a full agreement to sign Chelsea youngster Tyrique George for a transfer fee of €25.4 million (£22m), according to David Ornstein. George has agreed a five-year contract with Marco Silva’s side and he has been given permission to travel for a medical after Fulham saw a €25.4m offer accepted by Chelsea. Chelsea have included a heavy sell-on clause in the deal.

Team Talk has reported that Fulham is interested in signing Tyrique George. The club is monitoring the English winger as a potential acquisition. At 19 years old, George, who is currently with Chelsea, is looking for a permanent move to advance his career, particularly after Alejandro Garnacho's arrival at Stamford Bridge has restricted his playing opportunities. Chelsea is reportedly in negotiations with Roma over George's transfer, but the club insists on a valuation of at least £26 million. This valuation poses a challenge for Roma, which is only prepared to offer up to £20.6 million. In addition, Fulham and Crystal Palace have been identified as Premier League clubs interested in George, along with Bayern Munich, which has expressed interest in a loan arrangement. However, Chelsea is said to prefer a permanent transfer. George's contract with Chelsea is valid until June 30, 2027, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €10.00 million.
