Brighton & Hove Albion are one of several Premier League clubs monitoring 23-year-old English midfielder Tyler Morton following his impressive performances for Lyon. Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace have also been monitoring the midfielder. Newcastle, Sunderland, and Everton have also been watching him. His former club Liverpool is also interested, bringing the total number of interested top-flight English teams to seven. Morton joined the French side from Liverpool last summer in a deal that could rise to £15m and included a 20 per cent sell-on clause for the Anfield club. Due to the growing interest, it is reported that a bid could be launched when the January window opens. His contract with the French club is due to expire in June 2030 and he has 13 caps and one goal for the England U21 team. According to Transfermarkt, Morton's current market value is €30.00m.
