Geo Team reports that Dinamo Tbilisi winger Tornike Morchiladze has agreed to a transfer to Rijeka. He is to join the club on January 6 and sign a contract for two and a half years, which includes an option for a one-year extension.

Rijeka is close to signing Tornike Morchiladze from Dinamo Tbilisi. The 23-year-old Georgian winger, who has 10 caps and one goal for his country's U21 team, is described as fast and able to play with both feet. While he can operate on both flanks, he more often plays on the left wing. This season, he has scored 12 goals and provided one assist. It is expected that Morchiladze will sign a 2.5-year contract that includes a club option for a one-year extension, and it is possible he will be at the club for the first day of preparations. Rijeka's technical staff assesses that he will significantly strengthen the competition for winger positions. Morchiladze joined Dinamo Tbilisi in January 2025. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €350k.
