According to Sportske Novosti, Tonio Teklić's loan spell at Osijek has concluded and he is departing from the club. Osijek had an option to buy the player's contract, but that option will not be exercised.

Szymon Janczyk from Weszlo.com reported that the club management will probably aim to part ways with 26-year-old Croatian attacking midfielder Tonio Teklić in the near future. Teklić, who joined Widzew Lodz in July 2025, has a contract until June 2029. This season, he has made eight appearances in the Ekstraklasa without scoring a goal. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €800k.
