Croatian attacking midfielder Tonio Teklić, aged 26, has joined Mardin on loan from Widzew Łódź, returning to Turkey. He signed for the Polish club last summer when the team was managed by Željko Sopić, and he has a contract valid until 2029. After the coach's departure, Teklić made eight appearances and played 120 minutes in the first part of the season. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Osijek before returning to Poland. His new club, Mardin, was newly promoted to the Turkish second division. Previously, Teklić played for Trabzonspor and was on loan at Karagumruk and Erzurumspor. He has one cap for Croatia's U20 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €450k.
