The transfer for the 20-year-old defender, whose standing at Śląsk had significantly declined, was announced on the last day of the transfer window. In the current season for Śląsk Wrocław in the Betclic 1 Liga, Guercio made 16 appearances and provided 3 assists. The Italian club has loaned Guercio until the end of the season and has secured an option to buy. Remigiusz Jezierski, president of Śląsk Wrocław, stated that the player asked the club for permission to return to his native Italy.
