According to FootballScout, Łukasz Tomczyk, the new coach for Odra Opole, would like to sign Tomasz Gajda, a 30-year-old Polish defensive midfielder he managed previously at Polonia Bytom. Gajda is the captain and a key player for his current club. Last season, he had seven goals and eight assists in 34 appearances. The same source, FootballScout, suggests that Odra Opole will have to make a significant effort to sign him, and that Gajda's birth in Opole could be an incentive. His contract runs until 30 June 2027 and includes an option for a one-season extension. Gajda joined Polonia Bytom in July 222 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €200k.
